We care for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten. We are a growing family business that takes pride in our Centres and offering the best to our families. With new Centres opening we are always on the hunt for passionate, knowledgeable Educators to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for highly motivated and inspiring Early Childhood Educators who are passionate about early education and share our vision for learning. We believe that when you find the right Educator then you match them up to the position that suits them. We offer flexible working conditions and welcome all Educators to apply for a position that suits their needs.

We are looking for Educators of all qualification levels and from all levels of experience. We are looking for a passionate Educator who values inclusion and can support our team in honouring the individual needs of all children.

At Happy Hearts, we value our Educators wellbeing and have created an initiative to support this. All of our Educators have access to our Wellbeing Program which offers the following;

Desired Skills

We are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

  • You must have a warm and inviting personality that makes every child feel welcomed
  • You must be able to laugh and show extreme interest in jokes/things you don’t understand
  • You would preferably have a great sense of imagination, able to change on a daily basis from the captain of a pirate ship to the head keeper of a zoo to a shop attendant!
  • You are not afraid to show off your out of tune singing abilities in front of a crowd
  • You are not squeamish when talking about bodily functions and fluids and are confident in announcing when you are going to the toilet
  • You must have amazing acting skills, like pretending to eat the handmade playdough cupcake or delicious mud pie you’ve just been handed.
  • Generally willing to have plenty of fun!
  • You must want to be welcomed as a loved and important extended family member to the children and parents that pass through our doors.

Required Qualifications

  • Blue Card
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Child Protection Training
  • Completed or working towards Certificate III in Children’s Services or Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Available Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm
